One Long Time No Blog.

Truly we have being long time no blog, either is lazy or just does not know what to start with, just keep expect to see other people update blog and we then "kepo" on it, well, assume my new role in L2, leaving Kek from the queue, (abit sorrow), but the other end Steve is with my queue, :) My job function basically taking escalation, coach specialist L1, give training, answer to technical quieries, many meeting, sort of like L2 Cum Team Leader cum Manager, sometime really not sure what I'm doing. :-|

Eventhough different queue and less see each other, somehow we all those from NEC still getting along well, this is perhaps the friendship that were inside us.

I'm not sure how often I can come here, but for sure will blog whatever the problem that we want to blog, just blog, blog the hell out.

L2 ?

Somewhere 11AM, L2 Mgr walk over ask me to see him later, (for the "verdict"), getting abit nervous & excited over it, keep on doing work, until Tailou suddenly send MSN told me "good news..." This really abit shocking, is true ? still doubt about it, in a short while Kev came over comment the same thing, then Steve and other. Even it very certain, I only started to confirmed myself when I spoke to L2 Mgr at evening time, (V jnf bssreerq Y2 cbfvgvba, rkpvgrq naq unccl), I know this won't be easy job compare to agent, anytime could be kick out if perform not well, anyway I was pleased with the result.

I do hope this event WON'T hamper any of my relationship with everyone that I know, and also don't hope any people get "red eye" over me, I do aware there "may be" people does not look good in me for the post, be it senior staff or new staff, or......friend.

The "Bang" Courage, Confident, Dare To Fail (Maybe)

Today received an email from L2 Manager there was an opening for L2 position, my first though was, "mmm...interesting, should apply or not apply" both though keep running in my mine, fighting each other, but the "Don't Apply" is winning the game at this moment. So just left it in my mailbox while try to search for opinion, I got many that ask me to go ahead.

Well then I was at a friend house and coincidentally he played a short clip where William Hung first participate in America IDOL, Gosh...he really not doing well,anyone will want to kick him out of the competition. (I believe many seen his clip before right?), the judge ask him, (in a very dismal expression) "you can't sing, you can't dance, why are you here ? William look stunt and dissappointed, he then say "I've done my best, I've no regret", I think that's a very good courage in his. (Nevertheless, he manage to "she bang" himself, and for sure he was an idol)

Well, courage and confident, dare to fail. "Apply" though has win over "Don't Apply" (totally eliminated it), I applied. :)

UNEXPECTED ($$) event

Well, Chinese New Year has passed, How many ang pao $$ you guys get ?
I've being getting lesser and lesser this few year, (grow up liao ma), this year too, I miss out some UNEXPECTED and pao, cause timing to visit relative / friend, but at the other end got some UNEXPECTED even of ang pao, let me share......

1) Visit to the son of Malayan Printer owner, Mr.Chris Tang $$ with Kek :D
2) While fetch Kek at his home got $$ from his mom :D
3) Visit to Kevin Khoo house, just to get some DVD, his mom gave $$ :D
4) Gathering at my TL house got $$ :D
5) At the gathering, one of the colleague (married) came, and again $$ :D
6) Got a little $$ bonus from the gambling...ops :D

Anyway the most important is the milestone of friendship has further strengthen on all the even, which I seldom do the visit / gathering during my "routine" life. I really appreciate it.

Tedious

Sorry for not blogging for sometime, other than just "curiously" changing the way the blog look, being busy with the job recently, many changes here, many new hire (where is Chua and Ai Nee?), Ya, keep train new hire, learn new process and technical stuff, help out other. Perhaps this is the life over here, a little bit pressure sometime, but fortunately here have alot of motivation thing for the agent, such as rewards and good courage word from the Team Leader, (360 degree different from the previous supervisor).

What else, frankly, I feel tedious of the job & life, sometime is so routine that I donno what I'm doing for......I think I should do "something". (thinking......)

Well, is Chap Goh Meh, the end of Chinese New Year, so fast, old liao, sian liao......

Gathering

There was long time did not came out at night with friend to hang out, (sort of mamak stall hang out, lepak).

Having supper near BJ area with Kev, Steve, Kek & Ai Nee.
Me & kek reach first where we settle 2 bowl of curry mee, the 2 guy late nearly 1 hour, and the lady late 1 hour+, (hohoho, I'm not complaining here ya). Is a moment where we just say whatever we like, just don't say thing that hurt people.no responsibility, just hang around......

Additional info that Dell won't use the new DSP anymore, wonder what the reason, bad sevice perhaps.

Blatant "Cunning" idiot

Some people just too smart, or perhaps "chicken cunning".

There was a customer called today mentioned, (System out of warranty), he miss one of the program CD which not allow him to burn DVD, I told him that he need to purchase a copy, as expected he was requesting a free one, and can sense that he was trying his luck now......

Me : (DAMN!!, son of the bitch lai liao)
AH : Is not the question whether the cd is lost or not, the system should come pre-installed the software during the production" ,

Me : Yes off course, but the unit is 1years+......
(anything can be happen in a year time, he actually inherit the unit from one of his colleague, so who the hell know what happen during this 1 yrs)
AH : I'm not wiling to pay anything for the CD, you know people do mistake, your production may miss out the software during the installation.

Me : Well, over Tech Support, we did not keep the second copy as it was licensed.
AH : But you still have to do something for me......
Me :(Cipong, do you think this is charity organization ? is near 6PM, I was just...not so keen to talk much, give me a break, I know he was trying hard for his luck.)

Finally refer the AH to Customer Care Dept, he agreed, want me transfer ? no way, call yourself, Asss Holeeeee.

Gosh, I'm wasting time with AH, should talk to human.

PISSS!!!!!

Recently has encounter a call spike in volume, too many call, god damn busy with call, no time to breath (why keep calling you "meat ball" ??!!), if get a "genuine" caller then is ok, the call can be settled within 5Min-10Min, most PEK CHEKKKKKKK is this, "idiot bastard son of the bitch" who think they but a few thousand thing then want to expect to get a sun or a moon from us.

And also particular piss off with the email support here which when they come to a level where they donno what to do then will push the cust to the call centre, that increases the call and job, seems like DELL employ them to foward email instead of support!! C#$% P**$ !!!

Regards to the game, Searching Rom World, Google...etc, %$#* either cannot find the ROM file or cannot download, grrrrr....

In my dismal I see a light in the tunnel, the tunnel, look like leg, LEG??!! YES "keat leg" has found it, not sure where he get from, but definitely from from "different source", I've got the game (eventhough is in Japan version, don't give a damn), I love you Jase !!!

Got some hint to put some "Side Quest" and "Counter" for it.

New DSP

Received a call from our newly sign DSP (Dell Service Provider).

Me : Good afternoon, thank you for calling DELL, bla bla bla.
DSP : Hello this is DSP XXX(Unisys), service order is xxxxxx (service order some sort like TPM)
Me : Chk the case, mmm..fussy customer and DSP now onsite.
(ohh...funny, never think of will dealt with someone familiar again, kind of awkward feel)
DSP : I unable to duplicate the problem, NFF, but customer say is intermittent...insists have problem, what can do ah ?
ME : (Well, DELL always practice "customer experience"), hence, replace loh, at least we do our part, just make sure no other problem before you leave.
DSP : (Sounded relief), ok ok then.
ME : (cheee....what if I insist not to change and have him to answer to customer, give him tough time.....nah, so far he being very kind when I was in M.A.C (steve, borrow ur nick)

Wonder who else will call next time, I still remember some arrogance joker who think they are too good and the company have to listen to what they say, that maybe only happen in M.A.C (borrow again)

Career Revolution ?

During meeting, I've being considered to support ANZ customer somewhere early next year, well, many thing as something "song" but I don't feel "song" at all, first the working hour will be damn early, maybe need to work during dawn time, and I don't feel comfortable talking to "ang mo" leh, never being in this kind of situation before, is this consider a kind of "Career Revolution" ?? *sigh*......

Ha, Congratulation to fellow Steve, one more familiar face will join DELL, like I say, all my friend is "keat" one, sometime give time a bit then, success shall stand at our site.

After work, while having some chat with Kek, a former colleague (err...can consider colleague as well since he also work here now, don't want disclose his name lah, but he is one of the TOP guy sitting upstair previously in former company). He came over and say "you made the right choice"...(pause), 60% retrenchement. First thing that came into our mind, off course is our former company, really, that quite alot, what happen there......Hope those "redundant" person "take away". :D

NB: Oh Ya, and Steve, off course I do hope all my friend get good job, and all my fren "keat" one,(no need to say is understood one lah), prefferable come to be my colleague. :)
